HERMIT CRABS :) ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````

Today I got myself hermit crabs! They were originally for my mom who is partially bedridden cuz of her knee operation, but she thought they were escargot and wanted to eat them. -.-' So I thought it would be better if I took care of them :)

They are SO cute. They're tiny, slightly smaller than a matchbox. They'll grow, so I have to provide some extra shells for them to crawl into when the time comes. Anyways, ladies and gentlemen, meet DUCK and TEDDY!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYYAAYYYYYYY!!!!1

Hermit crabs make convenient and hassle free pets, so please make your way to a pet shop or that hermit crab shop in 1u (Near BodyGlove, on the skybridge, 2nd or 3rd floor can't remember, new wing) and adopt a sweet little crabbie today!

The song's going round in my head!! Not at annoying point yet, where the song refuses to leave, but at the point where its still really pleasant and you don't mind it going round and round, the lyrics half-known and humming to fill in the blanks.

Anyway, still in the land of extreme cold, FREEZING today, a bit foggy, but not as foggy as last night when we were driving back from my other cousins' house which is in the north of the land of extreme cold, five hours away from here. We were there for four days, Saturday till Tuesday. Didn't do much there, only arrived at night on Saturday. On Sunday we all went for a walk/cycle/rollerblade round the place, fish and chips for lunch. Got a weird look from the girl at the counter by asking for chili sauce (hey, I didn't know chili sauce isn't a normal occurence here). Monday passed in a blur of reading a book and TV until everyone came home from work/school, then had an absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS dinner of roast beef and potatoes and brussel sprouts and CHRISTMAS PUDDING which was set alight with lots of brandy. :D

Came back yesterday and today, went out for a bit of shopping, visited a joke shop (I love what I got there ;) )

GINGERBREAD COOKIES `````````````````````````````````````````````````````

I was feeling Chrismassy so i baked a ton of gingerbread cookies yesterday. There was leftover dough so I baked some more this morning. They turned out really well and they look so so cute. I cut them into shapes like ELEPHANTS(awwwwwwww), TEDDYBEARS(awwwwwwwwwwww), PINEAPPLES(AWWWWWWWWWWWWW) and last but definitely(hah mdebcmm, i spelt that right) not least, CHRISTMAS TREES! And I put loads of delicious colourful scrumptilicious icing on them. I wish I had some pictures to make you go awwwwwwwwwww but the camera is with my sis who's in Singapore. So I'll just have to draw it out(only the christmas tree one though):

After making a huge mess of the kitchen, My family and I(minus the sister) went off to Duta Tennis Courts for the FAMILY DAY TENNIS FRIENDLY MATCH(Yes, friendly) It was fun! My friend and I partnered up for doubles and went on to show all the old ladies what fabulous players we were. We were so good, we almost won all the three matches we played. If it wasn't for the two hundred and fifty-two mistakes I made, we could have won one game! Or maybe even two! No no, we didn't lose any games, we ALMOST, just almost won all the games we played. After the last game, my legs felt like rubber and my feet was making my life very difficult so we shot back home. After a nice hot shower, I plopped on my favourite notsocomfortable chair and gave my feet a massage in my darling iSqueeze. Getting a feet massage while sipping iced sky juice in a messy airconditioned room, life could not be better.

LAR DEEH DAHHHHH *

TODAY was a nice day. Went for a nice breakfast at 1u, followed by some window shopping. Came home with a slight headache, went online (STUPID RIGHT?) and made my headache evolve into a pounding one which later turned into full fledged splitting sledgehammer whamming headache. And I had tennis lessons in HALF AN HOUR. DISASTROUS. So I decided to take a short short nap and prayed that it would rain so I can stay at home and calm my head down. After that insufficient nonheadclearing sleep, i dragged myself into the car. Then miracles of miracles it started to RAIN halfway through the journey. GLORIOUS RAIN! So we went to my tennis coach's house which was nearby the field and canceled the lesson(duh) Yayness. So I got 4 hours of lovely dreamy sleep and woke up to a dinner of yummy pizza and half boiled eggs. Life could not be better.

I'm giving my desktop a facelift. L8er

Hiiii peopleeeee!!!!!

Greetings from the land of extreme cold!! I'm visiting my cousins for Christmas. Will be back in the land of extreme heat the day before school reopens.

Anyway, news from here.

Arrived on Friday last week with my dad and sister. Hello aunty, uncle, girl cousin, guy cousin, cousin's friend! Walk around in the park across the street.

Saturday: Put up Christmas tree with cousins and cousins's cousins and cousin's boyfriend. Cousin's other friend comes over too! All adults minus my dad go off to some party, kids watch Love Actually and play games like twenty questions and charades and some PS2 singing game. Apparently I'm a superstar :D

Sunday: Walkie walkie to the library with my aunty. Borrow two books, NAdeBCMW borrows three. Dad off to conference.

Monday: Everyone's out :( NAdeBCMW and I entertain ourselves with TV, computers and books.

Tuesday: Christmas shopping!!

Wednesday: Today! Everyone's going to be out again, so it'll be the same agenda as Monday. Dad gonna be back tonight. Back home, friends off to formal party.

Yes, I have my phone back! Unfortunately, all my contacts have been deleted from my phonebook, so there's a strong possibility I've lost your number. Have I mentioned...

...how aggravating it is when you switch phones?

First of all, your sim can only hold so many contact numbers. All the others get left behind in your old phone. And then when you need to make that terribly urgent phone call, you flip through your phone book...

...only to discover that number's gone.

AAARRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!


The other thing is that on different phones, the keys for space and full stop and comma etc are all different. So you start typing everything out - and its all wrong. >.<

Can't wait till I get my phone back from the repair shop. Till then, I'm sorry to all those people I sent meaningless smses to.

Yesterday was a continuation of the afflictions. The same sore throat, the same tap-like nose. Only difference was that I had the addition of a cough (phlegm and all) and a voice that came and went as it pleased. All this has been carried over to today.

CTMC, JTML, NAdeBCMW and I made gingerbreadmen yesterday. Mine were all normal gingerbreadmen, with chocolate chips and chocolate rice and hundreds and thousands for eyes and clothes and whatnot. Raisins too, except they got burnt. NAdeBCMW decided to make a gingerbreadalien and a bone. We chose a beautiful gingerbreadman for our Nihon go sensei but STBP ate the hands. !!! We ended up giving her one with a long scar running through its face.

Before going to Nihon go kurasu, we watched Happy Feet with Wen and family. That was such a wonderful show. It was like a collage, the humans were so real and the penguins were half real and half animated. Imagine: one penguin starts to dance and the whole world understood that and stopped fishing at the bottom of the world.

I have a tin of muruku keeping me company. Such a wondrous taste!

Anyway, I have to go wash my hands and get the oil off now. Till next time.

Of sore throats and mouthwashes

I woke up with a horribly burning sore throat this morning. Couldn't speak properly till around 10.30, so half my morning was spent in total silence, communication reduced to pen and paper. My dad gave me this mouthwash to gargle with and wow! did that thing burn. It was especially harsh on my tender throat. Even lunch was difficult, had to get chilli-less char kuey teow. Right now I'm trying to see if Fisherman's Friend can do the trick.

And if it wasn't bad enough to have a raging sore throat, I fell asleep this afternoon and woke up with a runny nose that seemed to think it was a tap that had been left on. It just refused to stop, practically pure water, not mucous, streaming down my face. (Gross, i know, but i'm trying to let you, my faithful readers, know exactly how terrible sinus can be)

Thus shall I end my complaint of afflictions.

Toe Mah Toe ``````````````````````````````

After much observation and research, I have come to the conclusion that both my small toes are retarded. Retarded as in abnormal. They look like shriveled up pieces of pink potatoes, the ones you find right at the back of the vegetable stall, left alone in a dark dusty corner to die. As for the nails on my poor toes, they don't even exist! I really am not happy with the miserable state of my toes. Oh and one more thing, I always seem to be smashing them against the wall or the bed post or some other thing. I cracked the bone in my left toe once when I was around 12 or 13 and it never really recovered, so I guess that is the reason for its retardedness. As for the other toe, it probably became abnormal just to annoy me. Sad.

Watashi wa kyo no hiru ni kuruma de tomodachi to ahtletics training ikimashita. It rained (as usual), thus forcing us to train in the athletics room. Its such a cool room, its got weights and mats and benches and stuff. My own school doesn't have that. Hmph. Not like we'd really use it anyway, i guess.

That is the MOST used word in this blog! Isn't that like frumbulous or what.

Anyways a blog is a blog, so I'll blabber a little bit about whats happening. I'll be going to the Australian International School of Malaysia (AISM) next year, which means I won't be taking SPM (Wahooi). I just got my school uniform, it is SO casual! I'll be wearing a YELLOW polo shirt (No school badge or name tag or anything on it!), blue black knee length skirt and black shoes. The uniform is very very comfortable and thats just marvellous. :) Ya so I'll be entering year 10 next year, which is equivalent to Malaysian Form 4, which means I'll be repeating everything I learnt this year. There's one drawback about going to this school though. The school is half an hour away from where I live, so I'll leave the house at 7.30 and come back only at 4pm or 5pm. bahh :(
But school only starts in February so I'll have a long long break before I go there. :)
