66th post

Greetings from the land of Caryn's now-not-haunted-condo. Christmas partaaay last night. Bling bling bling it on! Purple dragons.

My nails are growing.

Do your nails grow too? I have to cut mine every week, if not they're too long.

I haven't cut my nails in 3 weeks!!!! I FEEL LIKE EATING CHEESY CRABS!!!!!!!!!!

Pancakes. And chocolate sauce. Lara Cameron.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE THAT STORY!!!! ONE DAY I WILL BE FAMOUS AND YOU WILL SEE MY NAME ON EVERY BUILDING IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!

No clothes. Hahahahaha. No toothbrush. Forgot I was staying over. Oops.

She FORGOT. FORGOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one ever forgets that they're staying over at someone's haunted condo!! And yeah, my condo WAS haunted. I heard a ghost opening and closing doors at 2-16am on Friday, and I had this eerie feeling that something wasn't right. SCARY RIGHT!

Haunted by the ghosts of the past. Nail polish remover. Karaoke. Sushi. Tomorrow, the 16th, is Melisa, Wei-Ming and Josh's "Sweet sixteen". They're not triplets, btw. Just happen to be three people I go/used to go to school with who were all born on the same day. What do you get someone who has everything already?

NOT ONLY ARE MY NAILS GROWING, THEY ARE PEELING!!!!!!!!! I know what to get her! Get her a pet!! Hermit crabs are SO in! Or maybe a hamster, or a goldfish!!!!! She might need companionship!!!!!!!

Uh, right. Broke :( Christmas in 2 weeks :)

Much love,
Melissa and Caryn

Dinner

Guess who cooked dinner tonight?!?! That's right, ME! And no, it wasn't maggi mee or macaroni and cheese or boiled egg. Hmph. You people have no belief in my cooking skills. Okay, so I had (a lot) of help from my dad and my maid, Yuli. Oh, and Jamie Oliver, the guy who inspired the recipe. The original recipe was for "Roast Loin of Pork with Peaches".

We went to Megamall to buy the ingredients. We had to go to four, FOUR different places and NONE OF THEM had the piece of meat we were looking for, which was basically a roll of meat around the ribs. They either had
a) just the ribs, no roll
b) just the roll, in slices
c) the piece we wanted, but cooked
d) no non-halal meat at all

In the end, we settled for pork knuckle. Not the ideal piece, but it still turned out AWESOME. Recipe called for peaches, parsnips, potatoes, artichokes and celeriac but we changed it to peaches, pumpkin, parsnips and big white onion. What you're basically supposed to do is cut the meat around the bone and stuff peaches into the hole that you'd created, then cover it up with butter. I'd filled that knuckle till it was OVERFLOWING. Peaches, butter, everything was squashed inside. So I mean, hello, I expect to see peaches in the meat when I finally open it up right? Nope. I think they all shrivelled up and died inside the roaster. Anyway, they contributed flavour to the meat. You know how sometimes, when you have roast pork, the meat is a bit tough and the crackling's unchewable? Well, this one was just perfect. Seriously (Head not kembang-ing, just telling the truth). Omigosh, it was be-yeu-tee-ful. The pumpkins and onions went really well with the pork. The parsnips on the other hand were a bit overdone. Expensive too. Not using them the next time I do this.

The thing about me or any of my own immediate family cooking is that we tend to leave the cooking a little late, so we end up eating really late. CTMC's bugged me about this before, telling me it's unhealthy to eat so late, just before you sleep, bla bla bla. But who cares? It was well worth waiting for today. Ate at 10 pm.

Anyway, no pictures, it was eaten too fast ;-) More posts the next time I cook.

Ten things about flu

1. You can't breathe through your nose. Thus, you have to breathe through your mouth when chewing food or brushing your teeth, increasing the chances of food or toothpaste going down the wrong pipe

2. You can disgust people by telling them about the colour of your mucus.

3. Everything tastes the same. Good for when eating food you dislike.

4. You have no sense of smell. Useful when going past rubbish dumps or public toilets.

5. Ears keep getting blocked when you clear your nose.

6. You feel lethargic and your body aches. Bed's the best place.

7. Everyone avoids you for fear of catching the bug.

8. Flu is a bug that gets passed from person to person. So you could have the same bug that hit Freddie Mercury.

9. Mentos is good for keeping those airways open.

10. Your speech deteriorates into "Hi, I hab de fwoo. I cadt spea pohpely."

Of spilt food and leaky taps.

My cousins have been round to visit. From the UK and from Penang. Not all, but enough to make me happy :D

Last Saturday, Penang cousins, my sister, aunty and I went to Cosmo's World. Went on the rollercoaster 4 times, and posed for the hidden camera each time. McDonalds for lunch, my sister went to refill the ketchup saucer. She absent-mindedly pushed the refill thing and instead of filling the sauer, she filled her hand with tomato ketchup. Eh?

That night, we had chicken stew for dinner. My cousin sat down at the table, took some stew and poured it into his rice. Only problem was, there WASN'T a plate in front of him. He'd just poured stew all over his place mat.

My family is blur.

Woke up yesterday with a scratchy throat. Soon, it developed into a full blown cold, complete with total body ache and constant nose drip. Sitting in front of the TV: Drip, wipe, drip, wipe, drip, wipe. Not fun.

Random Post

Hello all humanoids out there! :D

Greetings from MdeBCMM. It's holiday time! Poor CTMC goes back to school tomorrow but I have the WHOOOOOLLEEEE of this week off due to Raya. So Selamat Hari Raya to all! Lots of open houses to go to this Raya. Neighbour, uncle, friends....

Anyway, what have I done these holidays? I'm taking them as total relaxation-no need to worry about anything at all. Just pure bliss. Whatever I want to do goes. So I decided to clean out my drawers. Now the drawers are clean and my floor's a mess. NAdeBCMW and I were playing with candles and waz today. Made our own littlr tea candles. I have one that looks like Isengard! Now THAT one is cool. Also made multi-coloured ones by layering the wax.

Oh gosh, last weekend was just so gooood. Its been so long since I had a totally free weekend. No taekwondo and no piano, plus no school/olahraga/interact/whatever to do. Just wallowed in my own laziness and watched TV like a pro couch potato.

Today there was this huge thunderstorm. TV's blown :( Computer still works though!

I love this shop. You want really really cheap books check out the pay less bookshop on the 3rd floor of amcorp mall. The books are practically half price and they are not hand me downs or "rejected" books! They're books you and I would actually normally buy.

Stuck momentarily, so I'll sign off.

Much love,
MdeBCMM

I must sleep early.

Today was the fiiiiiiirst day of school. The hardest part was waking up, I had to hit the snooze button 3 times. Got on the bus, first thing everyone said was :OOOOO WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR YOU CUT IT SHORT!!! Niiice greeting!!

Slept through the entire journey, or at least tried to. I was feeling too depressed cuz i was in a bus on the way to school instead of staying at home cuddling in my warm warm soft soft bed with the computer less than 5 metres away from me.. sigh.

Arrived at school.. WOW WE GOT A NEW CANTEEN THINGY!!! Said hey hey hi hi to everyone, nothing too exciting. First period was PE, just great. Second was assembly. Met the new girl, Carmen who seemed really nice. :) Recess, BM, Lunch, math, science and school was overr.

Yea.. first day was okay. Feels good to be back in school, feels good to have my life back on track. :)

OH I CAME UP WITH A THEORY ABOUT HOW WE CAN WAKE UP LATE EVEN ON SCHOOL DAYS.
You see, every single day of our lives, we complain about how we have to wake up so early every weekday. We love weekends cause we can waste the entire morning away just sleeping. SO, our idea of waking up late/ sleeping in is sleeping through the entire morning and only waking up at about 10/11am. So if we can shift our weekend waking-up time to 5am (which means we would naturally wake up at 5am), then we will have like.. an hour and a half of extra sleep on weekdays!!! Don't get it??? its like shifting our sleeping hours earlier, so we don't complain about having to wake up early, cause we're not waking up early, cause 6.30 am is not early, cause we usually wake up at 5.
You get???

I'm guessing you don't. :(

Random Scribblings

Why why why habbo? its a hopelessly addictive game that ppl lose interest in after a month or so. so to my random scribblings-aerobicthon in school yesterday. Held to raise money for the new Art Block. My class made RM1300++. We had a haunted house, people came out CRYING. Yes, we were THAT scary. I have an awesome picture of myself somewhere but I can't upload it because I've gone and spoilt my memory card reader. *Shock, horror* Been campaigning all of last week. Hasn't totally sunk in yet, but you are staring at the scribblings of Assistant Head Girl 07/08. And please change the background, black is just MORBID. Tests next week, my Sejarah last week was just hopeless, its a lost cause as I hadn't read a SINGLE THING before sitting for the test. So yeah. 07/07/07 was Interact Club of Assunta's installation. Not bad, for an installation. The next day was the Chicken Run. Ran around with an egg in an ice cream cone, then enjoyed myself at the theme park (the event was held at Desa Water Theme Park)

Warning-LOOONG post ahead!

Another "make you happy" post

Okay, I'll start off with Lit Night. The English Literary and Debating Society of SMK Assunta held its Annual Literary Night concert on 22nd June 2007. This year, it was themed "MIRRORS". After a month of intensive practices and dragging ourselves out of bed every morning during the school mid year break, it was a great success!! We were so worried, I tell you. NOBODY was buying tickets. Then suddenly, on Thursday, the day before the concert, EVERYBODY wants tickets and are trying all sorts of dirty tricks to coax people into selling them tickets as the tickets were sold out by 8 am on Thursday morning. Anyway, the night kicked off a little off schedule (about 15 mins off) as the spot light had "attitude problems" and wouldn't work. Somehow, the AV team worked some magic and brought it out of its sulking :D The night started with the opening act, Carnivale, an explosion of colours and splendour. Loosely based on a circus, it represented all of us, Lit Night cast and crew, working together in tandem to achieve this night. In this production, I was a bumbling magician. Tried to pull rabbits out of my hat, but only after multiple tries did the rabbit appear. Then, I attempted to make my assistant disappear. I pulled the magic covers over her, counted to three and voila!! Then I looked at her properly and realised she was still there. Ran off the stage in shame.

This was followed by Poetic Mirrors. It was a collection of poetry recitals by people mirroring each other. Then, it was Mirror, Mirror, a play by Singaporean playwright Verena Tay, co-directed by JY and I. It's basically a story about an anorexic/bulimic girl, whose mirror image is constantly pressuring her to lose weight. (I think you guys were awesome, all 6 of you!). Instrumental Fusion wowed the crowd off its feet. Featuring six violinists and two singers, they performed "Reflection" (The song from Mulan) and Can Can. The fifth performance of the night was a solo act by MJ, "French Toast", written by Brian Heath. This was an act that made it to the finals of the ISKL South East Asian Forensics solo acting finals. "The Birthday of the Infanta", the classic story of a Spanish princess (A real spoilt brat) and an ugly hunchback, the Fantastic, made everyone sit up with its elaborate costumes, acting and music. (Btw, Infanta, remember this? I am a real Princess and the daughter of the king of SPIN! Whoever dares disobey me will be BEHIT!! Lol. For the uninitiated, it's Spain and beheaded, not Spin and behit). Our own comic rendition of Medusa had the crowd in stitches (A great script, S :D). Medusa was planning her own stylish death and Perseus, a fool really, helps her do it. A dance number by three very talented dancers to Gloria Estefan's "Rhythm's Gonna Get You" was deeply appreciated by the audience. Then, it was the Disney edition of Snow White, albeit in musical form. As the storyteller of this musical, I was dressed from head to toe in PINK by my teachers (I know, I know, I can already see you saying, PINK?! PINK?!?!). Awesome costumes and acting-great job RYPY! The last performance of the night was the Finale - the singing of LOVE by all the cast and crew. This was followed by the president's speech, thank you presents to our wonderful teacher advisors, and the singing of the school song.

After locking up, it was time for the traditional visit to A&Ws. This is a part of Lit Night that has been around for as long as I can remember. We stuffed ourselves with rootbeer and onion rings and met up with friends, both old and new who came to support our concert.

That night, I only fell asleep at 2 something. JY stayed over as her mum didn't want to pick her up so late. The next morning, a SATURDAY morning, was a school day. Thank goodness I didn't have to go. (I missed the clean up. Sorry, guys!) AN, TW and I went all the way to NILAI for the INTI I-Challenge competition, a series of challenging games. Won't elaborate too much on them, but one of the games was plunging your head into icy cold water and fishing out an apple, an egg and a balloon. My nose froze. Brrrrr. The balloon refused to be caught, you sorta had to chase it round and round the basin, while the egg was at the bottom of the basin, right next to the side, so I gnawed off some of the edges of the basin, XD There was a game involving frogs (they were tiny. Like, one inch long), one involving swimming and one involving balancing trays of water in your left hand over an obstacle course. We did sorta okay for this, we enjoyed ourselves anyway, but didn't advance to the finals which is a singing, acting, dancing competition in August in Subang Parade. Met up with a friend from USJ 12 there, his team made it through to the finals.

So that's June. Now for July's update:

Library Week two weeks ago. Academic Week last week. My Editor-In-Chief has been bugging me about class photos, class photo divider and FoA, and I in turn have been bugging the Arts and Graphics girl about them. They're STILL not done. The first one or two attempts have been rejected, so now someone else is doing the layout. I was in interclass debate last week. The motion was "Handphones should be allowed in school". Even with our weak points, we sounded so convincing we made it through to Finals :D The second motion was "Advertisements have negative influence on the society". We honestly thought we'd lost this round, the Opposition was so GOOD. Yet we somehow managed to beat them, emerging as champions of the Form Four debate :D There were lots of competitions last week besides debate, like drama, oral interpretation, forum, public speaking, science corner, etc. This week is Sports Week. Netball, chess, ping pong, badminton and handball are just some of the activities lined up for the week. Played netball yesterday and had a lot of fun, couldn't even catch the ball properly. I haven't played properly since Form One! We're through to finals. Aerobicthon next week. School's annual "Try to raise money for a new block" project. Then, exams.

I'm going to be so busy next year. ELDS. Prefect. Interact. Rangers. Assunta. Olahraga. Editorial. Posts in at least three of these things. And then there's SPM to think about as well. Need. To. Learn. To. Say. No. NO!

Dinner, have to stop here.

HELOOOO!!

Hi hi hi hi hi hi I haven't been posting for a looong long long long time!! Hee hee!! Anyways, life is gooooood :) I'm in school trying to complete my IST project. Ooh its my 52nd post :D 52 is a goood number- it is a multiple of 1,2,7,8 and some other numbers i don't really care but yeah!!! Yay ummm. Lots of projects and stuff to do.. I've just had my sports day last friday.. it was torture!! at least i came in third for the 800m event!!! (out of 3 ppl) Hee hee.

Do you like being addicted to something? I think its funnn :) Not all addictions are good, but mine are! I'm addicted to CHEEESECAKES, PEACH CAKE, BUNNY GAME! (Link can be found below), CUTE THINGS, RIBENA, S'MOREs FLAVOURED POPTARTS, MUSIC, BLOOGGGING, BRB gtg

K back. Its exactly 6.00pm. Do you like 6pm? It feels like a time where we should be outside doing something.. running.. jumping.. flying.. something.. anything. Instead I'm lazing in front of the computer drinking peach flavoured green tea and munching on gingerbread thins. Bahhhhh. Today was uneventful. Two people from Blue Mountain Hotel School in Aus came over to talk to us about the hospitality and tourism business. The speaker was an old retired hotel(s) manager who was originally from Switzerland SWITZERLAND SWIIIIITZERLAND!!!!! Roger Federer is from SWITZERLADN!JJE!KFJLKDSFJD AND HE LOST!!!! :( STUPID NADAL GAHHHHH PFFT BAHHH BAHHH ABASHDSDJKSJFLKJDFLJFDJ!J@((*RE#*(&$)(&#$*&@!( ANYWAY,the talk was interesting, but I don't think I want to be a hotel manager or a chef or a human resource manager or a butler or a head waitress.. I want to be a.... hrmmmm....... i dunno. A psychiatrist maybe.. But I'll get so depressed hypnotising mad people and listening to their endless problems.. I wonder what/who/where we'll be in 10 years.. Hee hee!!

I wish I have a machine which makes decisions for me. I'll ask it a question and it'll answer yes/no. "Should I buy that adorable peach cake?" "Yes." "Should I wash my hair now?" "No." "Should I buy a new hermit crab to replace the three that died?" "NO." It would be so easy to make decisions, and our brains will disintegrate into mush. Yayy!

Isn't "!" such an adorably cute symbol? "?" too. The person(s) who created them must have been a genius.

51st Post!

(Incidentally, 51 is the number of gold medals Petaling bagged at MSSS athletics this year. Its our last year together! D: )

And Federer lost! Muahahahhahahahha!!!!! CTMC is devastated that Caveman beat her beloved Fed-Ex. But the chances were that he was going to lose anyway.

Back to school today. The usual hectic run around school AND THERE WAS NO ELECTRICITY IN MY CLASS!!! So I run halfway round the school and come back to class expecting a nice cool breeze from the fan BUT THE FAN CANNOT BE SWITCHED ON!!!! ARRRRRGGGHHHHHH. Whole day was dang hot. Had to clean up the hall as we used it during the school holidays and it was in a mess and the afternoon session had to use it for assembly. Managed to clean it up in time and got back to class for Maths, eagerly (for me) and uneagerly (my friend sitting in front of me) waiting for our exam papers back. I cannot believe my Maths marks!! Not something I would normally get. Was in a sort of limbo of emotions, torn between stressed and happy because of the Sunway project and exam papers. Also got back BM and Moral today. Both were much better than before. BM wasn't the best it could be, but it was a whole lot better than the first term exams. Tomorrow we get back all our Science papers (Chem, Bio, Physics. And Add Maths too). *Choke, gasp, we're all gonna die tomorrow*

Stayed back again for Lit Night practice, it wasn't great. Two cast members were mising, we had to show some ex-students and the cast members who WERE there didn't do their normal awesome roles. It was very flat and BORING.

Sunway project in two days. *Keeps fingers crossed*

50th Post!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we have reached our 50th post. Funny, it seems to have taken us a lot longer than I expected it would.

Anyway, life's been as hectic as usual. I have no idea why I can't be like anyone else in the sane world and keep myself free doing absolutely NOTHING during the school holidays. No, I have to go join a club that requires me to go to school every Monday to Friday during the school break to practise for our annual Literary Night concert. Seeing all the effort we've put into this concert, you should come too! Its going to be held in Sister Enda Hall, SMK Assunta PJ on 22nd June 2007. It starts at 7.30pm. Let me know if you want tickets!

Besides Lit Night, there's lotsa homework, including 3 chapters of history notes. Which I have been neglecting to do over the last 6 weeks. Plus moral. And Physics. And oh, did I mention the weekly piano and taekwondo classes?

Been out to seafood dinner twice in 2 days. On Sunday (Crabs in cheese) and on Monday (Butter crabs, curry crabs, frogs, lobster noodles.) CTMC's 16th birthday bash on Saturday where I managed to smash cake into her face. My friend's ballet recital on Friday night which was awesomely awesome. Won two of the lucky draw prizes! Bought 5 tickets, two hit the jackpot. One was the 15th prize, a stay in BTS (why anyone who lives in KL would want to stay there, I have absolutely no idea) and the 3rd prize, a stay in Cameron Highlands and a bagful of perfumey stuff.

Still trying to figure out how to do the pen trick Uncle Adeno showed us. It went flippety flip flip and it was behind his palm. Flippety flip flip and its in front again! The rubber band trick too. I know CTMC's card triiiick!!

Lotsa love,

Exams overr

I never knew stress till last week.. I never knew anyone in school could be stressed at all. But last week was EXAM WEEK!! Half the people in my year were either sick or having migraines from the stress.. I couldn't see a happy face for miles.. I think I was the only happy one there.. But since everyone was sad, I became sad too! :(

Exams.. Didn't really study so I felt doomed and panicky every morning and I'll be doing last last last minute studying. Anyways its overr!! And I'm free again!!

OMGGGGG yesterday I splurged on candy and today the ants attacked them!!!!!!! NoOOOOooo.... i hate ants.. they.. are.. EVIL!

Bullies

Yesterday, while I was reading the papers, I came across this bit of news. A teenage boy, he's 18 now, he'd been bullied as a six year old by an older student. His mother complained that the school authorities weren't taking any action and was told by the Education Department that bullying "builds character". This teenager has now been awarded record damages, more than A$213,000 (RM620,000) plus a weekly allowance for life expected to total more than a million dollars. Reason: He is now severely depressed. How is all that money going to make him happy again? It was ruled that the state had failed in its duty of care to the boy. But why didn't his mother take him out of the school if he was so unhappy?

Another bit of news to make headlines: Cop's life threatened before being killed in hit and run accident. Why was he threatened? Coz he gave someone a lift home.

Oh, and another piece of news I got from the piece of newspaper covering my puttu mayam: A man thinks he saw spaceships/aliencraft in the sky. Rectangular. Greyish-green lights appeared and the spacecraft disappeared. His wife didn't believe him, they stood outside and the spacecraft reappeared!!

My ferocious hunting dogs

Two days ago it was a squirrel. Yesterday another squirrel. Both dead and buried. Today, a sparrow flew into the house and tried frantically to fly out through the *clear* windows. Dogs spotted it and cornered it behind the sofa. Stopped them from murdering it, but they seem to have seriously injured it. Picked it up and took it outside, tried to feed it bread but it wouldn't eat. Kept opening and closing its mouth piteously. Held it up and tried to see if it would fly away, but it rolled off the tissue, fell to the ground about 10 cm below, and died, blood coming out of its beak and creating a small puddle on the tissue. Buried peacefully in the red soil. Dogs look unrepentant. Guess that's what they are, hunting dogs.

No, I'm not.

In answer to a question a friend asked me on the phone earlier as I was laughing my head off, No, I am NOT dumb. Technically speaking, I still have the ability to converse therefore I cannot be dumb.

In the midst of Mid Year Exams at the moment. Couldn't be bothered to study Bio this afternoon, spent the whole time reading the whole week's newspapers. Some interesting news this week. Big fight in Parliament because of some sexist remarks an MP made. Raja Muda of Perak getting married. Chong Wei won Indonesian Open (yay for him!) and prize money altogether comes up to RM92,000 more or less. Compared to all this, facilitated diffusion isn't all that interesting anymore. I'll so regret reading the newspapers when I see my exam papers though.

Dinner time. Ta for now.

Kampung!

I just came back from a 2-day visit to my granparents'. I've always known that I was spoilt, but not THIS spoilt. I had to sleep in a swelteringly hot room with the only source of air being the noisy table fan. It was too cold on the first night cause the fan was blowing directly at me. Well it wasn't exactly cold.. more like chilly.. just not the comfortable type of cold. The second night was slightly better. Yeah and the toilet flush wasn't working and there was no astro and the obsolete computer in the corner had no USB port so i couldn't charge my ipod and of course there wasn't any internet connection so that was pretty depressing..

But thats not important. I had a good time with my granpa, granpa, grandma, grandma and an okay time with my aunt (She gets on my nerves). My granma cooks well :P Food was goood.
Ohhh guess what!!! I got to ride a motorcycle!! ON MY OWN!!! Its really fun, quite easy too. Its heavy though, and if you're off balance, kaboom@!! Oh and I chased ducks too!! I went "QUUUUAAAAAAACKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!" at this bunch of awful looking ducks, but all they did was give me a queer look and continued with their picking and pecking. URRHH!! The chickens were no better.. Ah well.. so much for meeting my avian friends..

I bit my lip while eating broccoli and fish and rice last week. Now I have 4 awful ulcers on the same spot!!! iT HURTS SO BADLY I CAN'T EVEN SMILE OR TALK OR LAUGH without grimacing in pain.. :(

AHHH I have PE tmr and IST.. I'm not gonna be very happy.. 2 long hours under the blasted sun.. 2 long hours in the boring boring boring computer lab... sigh...

blaaaaaargh!! exams in 2 weeks!! ^^

Mid-year exams in two weeks. TWO WEEKS!!!

HELP!!!

Anyway, moving on. It's a holiday today!! All because a new King's getting coronated. And then next week Tuesday and Wednesday are holidays because of Wesak and Labour Day. Funny how one quarter of the year's passed and it didn't really seem that long. HOW CAN WE HAVE SO MANY PUBLIC HOLIDAYS WHEN THE TEACHERS HAVEN'T EVEN FINISHED THE SYLLABUS YET?

SATTIDAY!!

Today is a saturday! and yesterday was a friday! i hate fridays. i hated yesterday. it wasn't the best day of my life, for a few reasons:

1) PE (I CANNOT play basketball)
2) IST (The teacher was yelling away and i had no idea what was going on)
3) Math test (Headache!!)
4) English - We watched part of an extremely boring movie about this sad gardener who spent half his life watching TV and has never been outside the house. Suddenly, the movie became a full-blown kissing and making out scene with some woman who had magically appeared on the screen. Oooookaaay..
5) Got yelled at by a taxi man - while waiting for our parents at the bus stop, my friend saw a taxi. She was like "Oooh taxi" and waved her hands. I giggled and joined her. STUPID MISTAKE. The taxi stopped in front of us and the door opened. The indian taxi driver demanded that we go in and we were like "uhh.. no thank you." He got really mad and started yelling at us. "What the.." Thank God this woman came along and hopped in the taxi and off they went. PHEW. I learnt my lesson.
6) Tennis - on a normal day, I would enjoy tennis oh so much. but for some reason, my idiot brother made my dad so mad and the tennis match ended quite unsatisfyingly.
7) Missed Play - Tickets to the Romeo and Juliet Play at alice smith were sold out. I was too late. And apparently the play was VERY good.
8) Stomachache - too much junkfood and snacks ><
9) Depressing book - P.S. Your Cat Is Dead. What kind of a book is that?? A depressing one of course! I'll read you part of the back cover : It's New Year's Eve in NYC. Your best friend died in September, you've been robbed TWICE, your girlfriend is leaving you, you've lost your job.. and the only one left to talk to is the gay burglar you've got tied up in the kitchen....P.S. your cat is dead. .........I know, VERY interesting.
10) Bored/Sleepy/Lost/Blur/Confused - WHAT A DAY!!!

But WHO CARES! Its a saturday! What am I gonna do on this wonderful day? My geography and history and english and PE assignments of course! Due next week!! I'm sad, I know. Oh well I shouldn't be making you depressed too. I can't wait for monday. BYEEEEE BE HAPPY!!

I'll be happy!

Whoops!!

Omigosh, you know WHAT?!?! I signed in to our blog, then I wanted to sign in to my gmail account, so I went to mail.google, and I was going through all my e-mails and wondering why you'd put the webstat to my account rather than yours. Lots of spam which I deleted. Some mail from someone named Su Jin, whom I didn't recognize and was trying to figure out how I knew her when it suddenly occured to me that I WAS READING YOUR MAIL!!! Lol.

Athletics is going okay, didn't run in the 4x100m finals, the reserve ran. Last anyway. 100m hurdles (which I really wanted to win and go to state for) I was 4th (NOOOOOO), 400m sixth (Don't really care for this event) and 2nd for 400m hurdles. Wasn't sure if I was happy or upset to win this event as it probably means I'm going to state for this event and it's so TIRING. Gosh. Oh, and I couldn't believe the timing I set for the 400m hurdles as its apparently only three seconds slower than my 400m. I thought it would be at least ten seconds slower. It proves that a) I have no idea what timing I'm supposed to be setting as I haven't been going for training regularly; b) My 400m timing is lousy or c) My hurdling technique is awesome. Tomorrow's the last day with 4x400m. Here's hoping for a medal!!

Offer your teacher some listerine, he might get the hint.

Lotsa love,
MdeBCMM

HeLLo!!~

Hey hey dahling Melz. Good luck with your athletics!! I know you can do it!! lolz. You must be pretty tanned already.. remember to slather on loads and loads of sunblock lotion!! You don't want to get skin cancer at such a young and innocent age!!! lolz. When you run, think of me! Imagine I'm right behind you! lolz. I'm sure that'll make you run faster. lolz. jkjk. I'm feeling a little doozy woozy oozy. Maybe its because I'm in IST class. OMG the teacher's breath stinks. Its like a mixture of cigarette smoke, sour onions, and yesterday's dinner. he should brush his teeth. I'm bored and I'm totally lost. I have absolutely no idea what to do. Ah wellz here he comes again. Ciao and good luck!!

iPod?!?!

You...you...you...got an iPOD?!?!?!?! WHAAAAAAAT?! Is that good fortune or what?! Not that I'm jealous or anything (At least..I don't THINK so...hmmm). Yay for you!!

Anyway, don't you love holidays?? I do :) Poor thing, you had school last week. Anyway, its athletics again this week, district level. We just, JUST managed to get in for 4x100m finals, we all thought we hadn't qualified but WE'RE THE EIGHTH TEAM TO GET THROUGH!! Not a lot to be proud of, but hey, we're faster than we were during practice. Although that doesn't detract from the fact that the fastest team is 5 seconds ahead of us.

iPod

Today was shocking. My friends and i were walking past an Apple store and I told them how badly i wanted an ipod. Sadly, there is no chance of me getting one cause my dad thinks its a waste of money and mom thinks it'll ruin my eardrums. haha. But I walked in anyway and grabbed a brochure, just in case.

Later, we were celebrating mom's bday at home. Mom and dad attended a golf competition dinner thingie earlier and my dad won the competition thingy. So he showed us the prizes he won - golf balls, shirts, an electronic putter thing, a golf club etc. My mom seemed particularly excited about something, but I thought she was just happy cause its her bday. Then my dad said "Now its time for the best prize!!" and asked us to guess what it was. He said it was "a toy every kid would love". A toy? I don't want/need a toy. Without thinking, i blurted out "iPod..??" My parents smiled. From under the table, my dad whipped out a black box. On the cover was the unmistakable Apple logo. NO WAY. I screamed. I snatched the box from him. I was ecstatic. "I TOLD YOU I'M PSYCHIC!!!" My dad snatched the box back. They were all laughing at my reaction. overreaction actually. Mom said "You have to share it with your brother and sister" SHARE?? WITH THOSE PEOPLE?? NO WAY. But I was too happy to argue. They don't need an iPod anyway; I do. Dad took forever to unwrap the box. I was fidgeting impatiently. The outer cover slipped off. The box opened. Then I saw it. Sitting peacefully in the box was that thing. It was sleek and elegant. It was black and uber cool. It was the most beautiful thing I've seen all week. I reached out for it. I held it in my hands, it was so fragile, so awesome. I was mumbling something, unable to accept the fact that I, CTMC now am the very proud owner of an iPod. i've been waiting so many years for this moment. i was so happy i could burst into tears. I HAVE AN IPOD! this is so UNBELIEVABLE. "Thankyouthankyoutahnkyouthankyouthankyou!!!!!!!!!!" *hug* *kiss* *hug*

Apparently mom and dad won it from a lucky draw. WHY ARE WE SO LUCKY?? That is so weird. But I don't care, I HAVE AN IPOD!! And unlike the other 4 phones I've lost (>.<), I will guard and take care of this iPod with my life. Yay yay yay. Lucky lucky luckylucky.

DOUGHNUT

HERE IS THE DOUGHNUT I SPENT ONE HOUR ON!!!!!!

Guess who's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack????!!!!

That's right, the one, the only, the FAMOUS MdeBCMM!!

I know, I know you adoring fans have missed me. I'm sorry, its been athletics and Forensics and exams and photo day and things. Oh, and JAPAN!!!!!

JAPAN WAS AWESOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME

SAY THAT AGAIN!! AWESOOOOOMEEEEEE and I AM FAMOOUUUUSSS TOO!!! ALL THE SKIERS KNOW ME!!! YOU WANNA KNOW WHY? BECAUSE I AM EXPERT!!!!! AND YOU ARE ALL NOOBS HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAAH.
especially MdeB.

NO I AM NOT!! And you're not famous btw, you're INFAMOUS. BIG difference. Sane ppl don't randomly shout "Oi, you!! Yes, you!!" at unsuspecting skiers.

BUT HE WAS A FRIEND!!!! Yeah, right *rolls eyes* Anyway, we made pancakes today. and we learnt something: NEVER PUT MORE WATER THAN THE RECIPE REQUIRES.

Hello??? It tasted BETTER with more water. Pancake batter is SUPPOSED to be watery, NOT THICK AND CLUMPY.

BUT that doesn;t matter, i mean, the BATTER doesn't matter; its the PANCAKES that do. Imagine: a building was once an ugly clumpy thicky blob of cement, and at the end, it turns out so pretty and perfect. hee hee.

Buildings tend to be rectangular and tall and hard. Soooo unlike pancakes. We had perfectly round, fluffy pancakes earlier. Aaaaaaanyway, we made a birthday card for JY last night!!!! She's turning 4!! YAY!!!

YEAH i drew monkeys and a neurotic girl waving her arms off!! JY will be ecstatic!! did you know she collects lollipops but never eats them? what a waste of candy!!!!!! SHE IS SO CUTE.. and smart and talkative and adorable and she's so annoyingly meticulous.

I'm going home in 1 1/4 hours. I'm going to my school's Leo IU. Aloha, Beautiful World.

mdebcmm is gonna wear a hawaii print dress!!!!!!!!! must come and see ok!!!! Err, right.

End of message. Terminating in

Skewl

Weeellllllll looks like its posty posty time again huh. Yippee! :D I'm sorry for your very creatively named turtles mdeb, they should be thrown into a pond or something.. makes a MUCH more suitable habitat than a .. fake square shaped pond container with an even faker waterfall thingy.. sigh. I hope my hermit crabs die soon (:O) they're becoming such a burden.

Hmmm oh hows my new school? Its cool! I repeat the same lines to everyone - Ppl are nice, teachers are weird, schools nice, no homework, everythings so easy happy go lucky woopa doo da dee, foods ok blahblah. It was exciting the first week i was there. then, all the days rolled into carpet of boringness, dragging on and on. Sigh. I will tell you the problem. First of all, there is the study syllabus thingy. For math, we are still learning surface area and volume, ridiculous, I know. And Form 2 BM woop da dee and form 4 Science which contains a little of Form 5 (Just the basics). The subjects I'm taking are >> English
>> Science
>> Math (Advanced!)
>> Aus Geo
>> Aus History
>> Malaysian Studies
>> Photography and digital media (yay)
>> Information and software tech
>> PE (I played cricket today! haha)

I like English cus we get to read "To Kill A Mocking Bird" which may seem like a really dull story at first, but it gets quite interesting as the story rolls along.
I played cricket during PE, it was fun, i could actaully hit the ball woot.
IST is really terrible. The teacher has some sort of personality disorder. He never smiles, except when that stupid omg-i-know-everything-about-computers busybody boy made a huge mistake in his assignment. That was such a scene. He was raising his hand, ready to whack the boy when he suddenly stopped in midair and starting laughing manically. Like wow. Ok enough rambling for the day! Mdebcmm will get to listen to me warble on and on about school when we Nihon ni ikimasu. Lucky her!

Ok its late even though I have no intention of sleeping anytime soon. Its da weekend!

BYE DAHLINGS.

My dad's terrapin is DEAD

Oh woe is me. I have a dead animal in my garden. He's such a new terrapin too!! The name of the departed is Terree. That's coz he's Terry number 3. Number 1 was Terry, number 2 is Terru and the third one (who's only about 4 weeks old) is gone. There was another, Shelly, but she walked off one day never to be seen again. Terry died a few years back, when he and Shelly were young coz my brother spilt all their food all over the floor so they did't get to eat for four days and when I got home, Terry's head had been bitten off. *Yeowch* That's when we got Terru, to keep Shelly company.

Terru's walked off before too, before Shelly did, but he reappeared about a month later. Isn't that cool?! He survived in my garden for a whole month!!

Anyway, Terree's dead. I saw him floating under the fountain in the pond, but didn't know if he was asleep, dead or simply enjoying the jacuzzi. So he's been buried.

That's all for today folks. I don't think I'm being very coherent here. My head's spinning.

My fortune cookie said "A hug is a great gift.. one size fits all!"

*hugz*

Ohh and I ate another one and it said "Your dearest wish will come true."

LIKE OMG HOW SWEET IS THAT!
I'm the luckiest person alive to have gotten two of the sweetest and nicest fortune cookies in the world!

HI LOVELY PEOPLE OF THE WORLD! ----------------------------------------------------------------

A nice story my friend wrote for me. (She usually writes bloody and murder and sick stories, but i wanted one that's a teensy weeny bit happier. So there ya go!)

Once upon a time, there lived four bunnies. As we all know, bunnies love to eat carrot. They’ll eat any type of carrots you give them. Red carrots, orange carrots, white carrots, any type of carrots. Of course, they eat things other than carrots such as radishes and anything else small and edible. As I was saying earlier, there were once four bunnies. They were called, Rab, Bit, Bun and Nies. Rab loves to eat carrots. He eats carrots every day any, non stop. Bit love eating seeds. Big, small, round, oval, Bit eats all type of seeds. Bun, on the other hand, doesn’t like carrots or seeds. He prefers eating bread. Brown bread, whole meat bread, plain bread, bread with butter and jam and more bread. He never got tired of eating bread although he had eaten them several time a day. Nies, however, was a special case. He doesn’t eat carrots, he doesn’t eat seeds and he doesn’t eat bread. In fact, he has never eaten anything that has to do with vegetables or anything that has fibers. Instead, he eats chocolates everyday and his most favourite chocolate is dairy chocolate. Because of this, Rab, Bit and Bun have expelled him from their family, but Nies did not give up. He ate chocolate and began to work to realize his dream; which is to open up a chocolate factory and become the world’s main distributor of chocolates. Everyday, he worked hard, day and night, to make his dream come true, together with his beloved chocolates. After 5 years of hard work, Nies finally achieved what he wanted. Rab, Bit and Bun were regretful of what they did and seek for Nies forgiveness. Nies, being the nice chocolate-lover, he forgave them of what they did. Then, the four bunnies lived happily ever after. The End~!

Its so happy I almost died

HIIIIIIIIII

Hello, hello, my loyal fans, I am SO SORRY FOR NEGLECTING YOU!

Lol. First one and a half weeks of school are over, still settling in slowly. The teachers seem to want to pile up the homework, we've go homework coming out our ears. Its promising to be even worse in the next few months.

Have I mentioned I turned a whole year older?? Its so cool!! Four days ago, I was a certain age, and the next day, I WAS A WHOLE YEAR OLDER!!! Celebraed with my family, lots of good food. Roti jala, coleslaw, turkey, chinese-style beef, fruit salad, a beautiful coffee cake that was just right...

My socks are white, CTMC. My school socks I mean. They have the school name around the ankle in blue. I have stripey socks and red socks and camouflage socks too :D
